RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL

Frees the nose and nasal sinuses without the use of drugs

For head colds to allergy symptoms to chronic sinusitis - diseases of the upper airways are common and impair the quality of life of those affected. RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL is a respiratory therapy device for mobilizing and removing secretions in the nasopharyngeal space.

When RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL is used, a positive pressure and vibrations are produced, when the patient exhales through the nose that are then transmitted to the entire nasopharyngeal space.

Modular system


The RC-Cornet® PLUS is a modular system that makes it possible to convert each basic product (RC-Cornet® PLUS, RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL, RC-Cornet® PLUS TRACHEO) into all other products of the RC-Cornet® PLUS family. Only the corresponding accessories are required for the conversion.

Indications

Application

RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL

Hold the RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL as shown. Insert RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL into the right nostril and pinch the left nostril shut using your index finger. Breathe in through the nose, if possible, and after a brief pause, exhale through RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL. Should you experience difficulties, you can always remove your index finger and inhale over the left nostril. Breathe in through the nose, if possible, and exhale slowly through the nose and into RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL. This produces a positive pressure as well as vibrations in the nasopharnyx. Exhale the full volume of air through RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL. Repeat the process with the left nostril.

New Design

The RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL is an enhanced version of the Top-seller RC Cornet® N. It has many new elements, which make it even easier to use in everyday life.

Various forms of treatment

RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL can be used for two different forms of treatment.

Setting 1: Use setting 1 for middle ear conditions (due to disorders of the auditory tubes).
Setting 2: Reduction of secretion of nasopharynx

Nebulizer port

Combining RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL therapy with a standard ISO nebulizer improves delivery of your nebulized medication and reduces the total treatment duration. Furthermore the effectiveness of both therapies is improved.

High Hygienic standards

The new tube design simplifies the handling and assembly and allows a much quicker drying time.

RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL SET

The accessory article RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL SET can be used to convert the RC-Cornet® PLUS into an RC-Cornet® PLUS NASAL for the treatment of the upper respiratory tract.

The nose olive (a.) should generally be used for this. The angular handpiece (b.) is only required if inhalation therapy is possible.

The accessory article RC-Cornet® PLUS tracheal connector with a 15 mm connector standardized to ISO can be used to convert each basic product from the RC-Cornet® PLUS family into an RC-Cornet® PLUS TRACHEO for the treatment of the lower respiratory tract in tracheostomized patients.
